Important Update June 12, 2025Dear Parents,In order to keep you informed, we are notifying you regarding changes that will go into effect at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year, following the enactment of House Bill 340, the Distraction-Free Education Act, and additional updates to the student code of conduct. These changes will restrict students’ use of electronic devices and limits access to the school’s wireless network during instructional hours. Effective July 1, 2025, students will not be permitted to use or display their personal electronic devices during the school day. All devices must be stored in a backpack or locker and must not be carried on a student’s person. Additionally, all device ringers, alerts, and alarms should be turned off. Prohibited electronic devices include, but are not limited to, the following: cellphones, tablets, headphones and earbuds, smart glasses, smart watches, or any similar personal devices.If students need to call their parents, they should report to the main office to use the school phone. Likewise, if parents need to reach students with messages or emergencies, they should call the main office. More information will be provided at the beginning of the school year to ensure that students and parents are fully informed of expectations. Tardy and Carline Reminders As a friendly reminder, the tardy bell rings at 8:40. Students should be in class before the tardy bell rings. In order to ensure students arrive to class on time, the carline ends at 8:35. Please join our carline located off of Conn Dr. from 8:10-8:35 each morning if this is your child’s mode of transportation. All students arriving late should report to the front of the school. We sincerely appreciate your support and patience as we make the safety and learning environment a priority for your child.
PE & Shoes! For your child's safety and ability to participate with PE activities, please have your child wear tennis shoes on his/her PE day.
