Meet Mrs. Revelle Cox,
Mrs. Revelle Cox received her BA in Education from Augusta State University. She went on to earn a Master's Degree in Leadership from Central Michigan University and her Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee. She has put her education to good use during her 27 years in the Columbia County School System. Before becoming the Principal of River Ridge Elementary School she taught at both North Columbia Elementary and at Westmont Elementary. She moved from the classroom into administration at Westmont Elementary when she became the Assistant Principal. Mrs. Cox's family is made up of her husband, Keith, her two boys, Ryne and Cody, dog, Charlie. Ryne is a lawyer in Augusta and Cody lives in Valdosta, GA.
Meet Mrs. Lisa Hughey,
Mrs. Hughey received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Augusta State University. She then earned a Masters in Elementary Education from Walden University and her Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. Mrs. Hughey brings a range of educational experience spanning her 24 years as an educator that include the classroom, guiding curriculum development, and facilitating professional learning for teachers. She spent four years teaching kindergarten in Maryland, 13 years in the Richmond County school system as a classroom teacher and Instructional Coach before joining Columbia County in 2014 as the Instructional Specialist at South Columbia Elementary. Mrs. Hughey’s family includes her husband, Scott, and children, Whitney, Emma, and Nathan, and grandson, Wilder. Mrs. Hughey is excited to serve the faculty and families at River Ridge Elementary as the Assistant Principal.
Meet Mrs. Tracey Hogue,
Clerical Office Assistant
Mrs. Tracey Hogue was a para for 11 years and holds two technical college degrees. While at River Ridge Elementary, she has worked in a grade levels and is currently working in the front office. This is where her favorite part of her job comes in--getting hugs from the children!
Meet Mrs. Diane Meyers,
Mrs. Diane Meyers started with the county 19 years ago as a paraprofessional. She graduated from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is originally from Pennsylvania but has called Martinez home for the past 30 years. Her family includes her husband, Ron, her son, Mitchell, her daughter, Lindsay, and a Boxer named Cali.
Meet Mrs. Mavis Pilger,
Mrs. Mavis Pilger started with the county 7 years ago as an interpreter for the hearing impaired. Before devoting her work to Columbia County, she served as an Office Manager in the manufacturing industry for fifteen years. Her studies were in Business at St. Leo College and John Tyler College in her home town of Richmond, Virginia. She relocated to Evans 10 years ago. Her family includes her husband, Andy, and her twins, Ricky and Star.
