Welcome to Ms. Albury's Math and Science website! I am excited to start a new year together. I This is my eighth year teaching. I received my Bachelor's degree from Augusta University and earned my certificate endorsements from Mercer University. My favorite aspect of teaching is supporting students' aha moments, seeing a student "get it." 

We will be reviewing all math and science fourth grade standards and building upon that knowledge throughout the year. We will work hard, but have fun learning!

I was born in Italy, and learned English at the age of nine. My fourth grade teacher instilled a love of reading in me, inspiring me to pursue a career in teaching, specifically fourth graders! I have two wonderful children, ages 28 and 25.  Noah is an ex-Marine, and has spent almost a year in Ukraine working as a Tactical Instructor for TDI. He promises to return for a visit in October!   Michela has been living and working on a small island in the Abaco region of  the Bahamas. She was just engaged in June!  Though I miss my own children, I'm excited for the group I get to spend the school year with!
