RRE Clubs
BETA club -contact Mrs. James, Mrs. Stokes, or Mrs. Masters
- Mission/Purpose: The National Beta Club is a non-profit, educational organization for RRE students in fifth grade. The club's mission is to recognize students for their academic achievements, character, leadership, and service. Students are identified at the end of the second nine weeks. Students who qualify must have an average of 95 or higher in addition to good character. If students qualify, they will be extended an invitation to join. There is a required initiation fee and induction ceremony that takes place in January.
- Meeting Days/Times: One Tuesday per month 4:00-4:30 (Subject to change)
Garden Club -contact Mrs. Jackson
- Purpose/mission: The mission of RRE's Garden Club is to instill a love of gardening in children and teach them to respect and protect the environment and its resources.
- Open to 3-5th grade students, limited spots available.
- Meeting Days/Times: Wednesdays 4:00-5:00
Green Patrol -contact Mrs. Owen
- Purpose/mission: RRE is committed to helping our environment through recycling. Students selected meet once a week to collect school recyclables and load them on a truck to be taken to the recycling center.
- Meeting Days/Times: Friday 8:05-8:35 am
Chorus -contact Mrs. Ball
- Purpose/mission: Introduce 5th-grade students to choral singing, build their singing skills and musical appreciation, foster confidence and social skills, and strengthen community relations by performing for our school and community.
- Meeting Days/Times: Wednesdays 7:40-8:10
Safety Patrol -contact Coach Paulos
- Purpose/mission: Fifth-grade students have the opportunity to serve the school by assisting students during car line drop-off and pick-up. They will be instructed in safety and assisting other students as they leave or get into cars.
- Meeting Days/Times: Daily AM/PM
Run Hard Club --contact Susan Harris
- Run Hard is an 8-week after-school kids running program that builds confident kids by training them to finish a 5k and teaching life values.
- Run Hard is open to all River Ridge Elementary students in 3rd-5th grade, however, space is limited.
- Meeting Days/Times: Practice is held twice per week on Monday and Wednesday immediately after school until 5:00 pm.
- Cost is $90/per student - Scholarships and sibling discounts are available upon request.
- REGISTRATION OPENS - September 1st
