Hello Parents and Fabulous Fourth Graders!  My name is Mrs. Montgomery and I am pleased to be your fourth grade math teacher this school year.  This is my 25th year of teaching and out of those years, about 20 of those years have been in fourth grade.  I am so excited to be your child's teacher! 

        I am a teacher at heart and by profession.  Each day I have the opportunity to inspire, motivate, encourage, facilitate, guide and direct.  Parker J Palmer, with the Center for Courage and Renewal, stated it best when he said, " When my students and I discover uncharted territory to explore, when the pathway out of a thicket opens up before us, when our experience is illumined by the lightning-life of the mind- then teaching is the finest work I know."
