Welcome to Ms. Tanner's ELA website! I am excited to start a new year together. I This is my eleventh year teaching fourth grade at River Ridge Elementary School. I received my Bachelor's degree from Northeastern University and earned my Master's in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University.  I am Gifted, ESL, and Dyslexia endorsed, and Google Level 1 certified. My favorite aspect of teaching is instilling a love of reading in my students, connecting through discussing literature.

We will be reviewing all ELA fourth grade standards and building upon that knowledge throughout the year. We will work hard, but have fun learning!

I am from Florida, but have lived in Georgia for the past 17 years.  I have two wonderful sons, ages 19 and 21.  Grant is a sophomore at Embry Riddle University and Mitchell is a senior at Augusta University . We love to travel; Disney and Hilton Head are our  favorite destinations!
